Lil Wayne was supposed ti be sentenced yesterday (2-9-10) to his one year jail sentence due to gun possesion. But Weezy F was not due to his teeth! Wayne is undergoing surgery on his grill Feb. 12th and will be officially sentenced March 2 foresure. Welp Wayne enjoy the little more frredom you have (no sarcasm)

Last night (1/22/10) George Clooney with the help of Wyclef hosted the Hope for Haiti Now telethon. The telethon had over 140 celebrities taking donations to help the Haitians because of the earthquake that took place earlier last week. 

Singers there including Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Bono, Coldplay, Rihanna, Sting, Stevie Wonder and Sheryl Crow, and addresses from former US president Bill Clinton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman and Samuel L. Jackson. More clelebs included were  director Stephen Spielberg, and actors Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson, Reese Witherspoon and Penelope Cruz.

Here is a few music performances that took place at the telethon last night.

Mark McGwire has shattered many MLB records throughout his career, but the question that has been on everyone's mind is was steriods in the question? McGwire has been out of MLB since he retired in 2001, and has stayed out the lime light since except for when he was in court in 2005.

Earlier this week Mark admitted to using the drug. McGwire starts as the St. Cardinals hitting coach next month and says he has to move foward.

“It’s something I’m certainly not proud of,” he said in an interview with The New York Times. “I’m certainly sorry for having done it. Someday, somehow, somewhere I knew I’d probably have to talk about this. I guess the steppingstone was being offered the hitting-coach job with the Cardinals. At that time, I said, ‘I need to come clean about this.’ 

McGwire gave his first interview to Bob Costas of the MLB Network; and has apologized for the wrong doing. A question was asked that if he didn't use the drug does he think he could still have beat the homerun record? Without a doubt he say's yes. Throughout the year '09 Wayne opened up to the public more and more in his personal life. With the VH1 special on 'Behind The Music" also with "The Carter Doc." produced by QD3. Now with DJ Scoob Doo "The Nino Brown Story" is born.

"The Nino Brown Story" is said to be the Doc. that goes into his personal life more than any other one. The film is like "The Carter Doc." During the video you see Wayne shoots music video's with DJ Khaled and Baby; and like always weed smoking.

For years ESPN has always been the sports capital of the world. This June it's taking the next leap to secure there spot at number one. For all you sport fans out there in the world that want to feel more apart of the game you definately will; this June ESPN is launching a new network that will be in 3D 24/7. ESPN 3D will launch just in time for the World Cup.

ESPN promises to show at least 85 live events on this new channel, which may come at a added cost for the viewers. All I can say is "WOW!!! I need this new network in my life". Things are going to be crazy when this launches, I 100% believe this will change the way I watch sports. More news on the new ESPN 3D futher on in the year.

11 time platinum artist Sean Carter aka Jay-Z has been reduced to being called a devil worshiper? Come on are the people that believe this serious? You honestly can't be! Jay-Z's new video "On to the Next one" featuring Swizz Beatz premiered earlier this week and some of the responses have just been HORRIBLE to read. People believe that the video suggest that he serves the devil.

This isn't the first time Jay-Z has been accused of worshiping the devil; on the "Grey Album" his track Lucifer has been said if played backwards you'll hear 666 murder murder Jesus. Also on his song D'EVILS he says he doesn't pray to God. To me this is all some MARLAKEY! It annoys me so much that people will take anything that they see or hear and just run with it. Come on you really think this man worships the devil?

On his 11th platinum album you can find the new "Devil Anthem" to be track 7. The part that really gets me is that I heard so many people say that they won"t listen to Jay-Z anymore, I guess that just means you weren't a true fan to begin with. Before this video came out no one even thought to put the lyrics and the devil together. Now just because the video is different from his past ones he serves the devil. All I can say is keep doing your thing Hov you got fans here at F.A.D.E.D. And I'm sure you already know this people will hate no matter how good you're doing.

Cameron Jibril Thomaz better known as Wiz Khalifa has a very interesting interview on www.smokingsection.com In the interview the smoikng section goes into topics such as his new "Deal or no Deal" album. Right now this new project was made in limited quantities so if you snooze you lose (lame I know but real talk).
